I have benefitted from consultation and mentorship throughout my career, so I am delighted to pay it forward to early career clinicians. I believe this process of working alongside a seasoned practitioner is an essential part of becoming a confident professional. While collecting consultation hours can feel arduous, it is an opportunity for developing the art and practice of psychotherapy. In supervision, I offer a space of introspection for you to ponder: What is my style? What do I see and feel with this client? How do I use what I see and feel to inform my work? Consultation is about being supported as you find your own voice as a therapist. Having other minds, hearts and instincts are so important in this deeply complex and important work that we do.

My style is intuitive and direct. I understand that sharing your work is vulnerable. I offer both a space for you to develop your own style and thinking, while offering my feedback and guidance based on the clinical material that arises. This work is deeply human, and I focus on making the consultation space safe and a place to deepen understanding.
